The experts are divided on this. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has released a pretty creepy photo suggesting the answer is "yes." Robert D. Ballard, who was among the ship's first discoverers, says it's "possible and perhaps likely" that there are "preserved" remains down there. French diver Paul H. Nargeolet, who has examined the wreck over 30 times, says no. James Cameron — who, believe it or not, has actually visited the site more times than anyone else in the world (of which he is still king!) — concurs, and is "visibly miffed" that the federal government has never called him up and said, "'Hey, why don’t you make all your hundreds of hours of interior survey available to us so we can actually have an informed opinion?'"
